Staying close

We'd decided not to go far today having put the steps in for the last two and the weather was definitely in favour of staying put. We did a civilised supermarket trip after breakfast, a walk into Beaumaris and a purchase made and then we settled down to listen to the wind and watch the rain at times. Lots of reading done before and after lunch and a few wanders in the garden, one with my camera - and Bailey. Middle top is the view from the highest part of the garden over the Menai Strait to Snowdonia.

There was a bit of blue sky in evidence after tea and Bailey making it known that he would like to go out. We walked down to the front, along the shore and then through the town to walk on the front and get a view of Puffin Island from a different angle to Saturday. The forty mile an hour winds certainly blew the cobwebs away.
