THESE FROGS REMIND ME OF...

We have passed this koi & water lily pond many times in
pre-COVID days, but this time seemed very special.
My husband & I went to a Dr. appointment in LA, &
decided to have a late lunch outside at a favorite restaurant, which is right around the corner from this pond.  On the way to the restaurant,
we both took photos of these frogs.  My husband (zimmt54) also posted his photo, & mine pales  in comparison.

Actually, I don't care, because my Blip is a reminder that all was well at the Dr. & we had a delicious lunch afterward.  My husband & I have both
been on extended "tours of the specialists,"  with the tests attached to them.  We have spent many days in Hollywood visiting doctors, wondering "where are all the movie stars & why is parking so expensive?"  We got in the habit of adding something interesting to blunt the sting of traffic & scary diagnosis.  We once, after an MRI,  had lunch at a little French cafe with a book store next door.  Another time we went to a very trendy, swanky hotel for a drink to celebrate the news from the Dr.   We also went to every art museum in LA, during this period.   We were creative in the ways we took the sting out of the medical treatments & my husband  handled the brutal Southern California traffic without a flinch.  There were terrifying days & nights with little sleep, but that is another story...

This was all before COVID-19 made it all nearly impossible.  Now,
a quick lunch on a patio, after a Dr. appointment,  was such a wonderful treat.   The FROGS are just a reminder that we  can sometimes find a glimpse of our old life.
