Henry Failed

Henry VIII's heavies failed to get all the "papist" decoration out of this church.  There are two windows containing glass dating to before the Reformation and this is one of them.

There is also some medieval graffiti on several of the columns in the church, mainly in Latin, one dating to the Plague and bemoaning the death all around.

I almost forgot to mention: that I found a cheapo 12mm lens for my Fuji cameras in the form of a 7artisans 12mm ƒ2.8.  It's manual focus (so my first attempt at photographing this window was a failure) but the depth of field is pretty amazing and it's as sharp as my Laowa (which I sold to finance my X100F a few weeks ago).
