Overgrown Bench

A long walk on my own again this morning - Finlay is on complete rest until the end of this week at least. He is going stir crazy though and wants to be out with me!

This bench has been derelict for a while and is now getting overgrown with weeds and grass. One for Derelict Sunday - kindly hosted by Marlieske.

After lunch I took Mrs madwill to York hospital for an appointment (which had already been cancelled and rearranged to today) only to find out that the clinic had been cancelled again - but no one had told us! So a wasted 30 mile round trip, £4.40 in parking charges, plus coffee at Costa whilst waiting - and a stop for a cup of tea and cake at Rufforth on the way home!
