Heavy Metal

I'm sure we're all appalled by the destruction in Beirut. Intentional explosion has been ruled out but it seems much more likely that incompetence regarding the storage is at the heart of it. Apparently the blast was felt in Cyprus 145 miles away.

It's Wide Wednesday and the optional theme is 'Heavy Metal'. A theme I would have enjoyed if it hadn't been raining all day here. As it is, I've taken a shot of a table and chair on the patio. I hope some of you have been able to be more inspired and I'll look forward to going through the entries tomorrow and announcing the hearts and honourable mentions with my blip tomorrow evening UK time.
