Bridge of Allan “paddy” fields

After yesterday horrendous biblical rainfall and flooding last night the allotments in Bridge of Allan resembled paddy fields this morning despite the water level being 2 to 3 foot lower than it had been. Glad to say that the willow bank on the riverside of the allotments had slowed the flow of water from the river and prevented major erosion and damage. As long as we now get some dry weather and the water table drops the plants should recover and survive.
