Normal service has been restored

Today’s excitement was a trip to the hairdresser (see extra). Very well organised and felt very safe during my cut and colour. My usual hairdresser is still on maternity leave but the two ladies who did the colour and cut are lovely and did a great job.

Miss PHL was pleased with her cut too. Mr PHL picked us up and we headed for home. Unfortunately there had been an accident on the city bypass so we took a shortcut which turned into a long cut as all roads were backed up. We drove past The Secret Herb Garden (a place I’ve wanted to visit for a while) and decided to stop to try and get a bit of lunch and wait out the traffic. It was absolutely chucking it down so it was a quick dash from the car. Coffee and cake was all that was on offer but it was tasty.
Main blip is the pears growing in the cafe area.

Home via the supermarket and a bit of time to relax. Quiet evening.
