12-spot

Twelve-spotted skimmer, libellula pulchella.  That sounds Italian, not Latin.

The sun was so bright today at Frohring Meadows that I really couldn't see most of what I was shooting.  On the way home I saw Fran was mowing grass, so I popped in her driveway to say hello.  Her veg garden is amazing.  We had a nice short visit and I was on my way again.

Thank you kindly for the stars and hearts on yesterday's blips.  A good deal of sleep continues to elude me nightly so I didn't even look at blips today.  Hope to catch up soon.
