The river through the trees

For the first time in about six months we took a donation to the Shelter shop. It was accepting donations this morning so we got there shortly after 09:00. Good to have some of the lockdown sort out away for, I hope, someone else to use and enjoy.

It was lovely at breakfast time and we had tea and toast in the garden enjoying the flowers, bees, butterflies and other such. On the way back from the charity shop we somehow took a notion for a second breakfast. Coffee and porridge for me, coffee and eggs for Cameraman. Just felt right though it was a bit greedy.

Walking back my eye was drawn to the river rushing by through these overhanging branches. There's plenty of water after all the rain. The weather is good. We don't have the heatwave that people are enduring down south. Thank goodness for that. I'm immobilised in temperatures in 30s. I much prefer what we have, low 20s with a breeze.

Wishing everyone a good weekend.
