DAY SIX IN THE GAMES....

.... today saw the first event for the White Faced Herons, and it was Harry (in main shot) who took out the Reed wobble event. The Reeds around the Lagoon have been planted with hidden obstacles which before the Games the Committee copped a lot of "flack" for the difficulty of the course. 
No issue for Harry, he won in record time.

Meanwhile Patsy the Purple Swamphen was due to line up for her Water Aerobics event, and was no where to be found! 
But, then the Team Manager found her along the Lagoon edge preening herself (extra one and two) and with quite some coaxing made the start okay, (extra three) only to been seen heading in the wrong direction, as  Belinda the Pacific Black Duck (extra four) went on to take out this new event.
For the new Events the Committee organised the colourful water display (extra five) to celebrate, part of which was also to present Harry the White faced Heron with a new Medal.  
Where was Harry..... well he was so chuffed with his win, he was found going around the course again (extra six
