Flower Friday

hot hot hot!! It's a proper scorchio here in Essex, like many parts of the UK today!  Temperatures hitting 35 degrees, although we had our thermometer out in the shade in the garden and it reached 42!!! Hence why we're inside with the doors and windows shut, curtains drawn and enjoying the relative coolness of the house!! Definitely not cut out for being fans of the heat!!

Having to check on the bunny every hour too in the garden - his hutch is well protected in the shade and he's on cool concrete so he's loving his shady patch and I keep spritzing his ears with cool water every hour! Wish someone would do the same for me!

More dahlias are appearing daily around the garden so had to share this little coral peach one!
