Everyday Adventurer

Ranchi

This is Ranchi, the smallest and most under-developed city I am visiting on this trip. I haven't really left the hotel but you can see most of the place from my 6th floor room.

A colleague went for a walk early each morning and told me that there is a lot of poverty here. We were talking to the hotel staff who earn around £100 per month. The price we paid per night. But I guess it is all relative - they are fed and have accommodation with that and the cost of living here is very low.

I am flying to Kolkata this evening for the last fair on this trip on Sunday.
