The Bel-Sit

Our local trattoria, the Bel Sit, has been producing wonderful take away  food throughout the lockdown. It really is proper Italian cooking with a family crew working hard to make a go of it. Today is their last day before they all go off to Italy for a well earned holiday.

Friends came round for lunch and we ordered a range of dishes including sea bass in a white wine sauce and veal escalope. All delicious. When they return they are turning it back into a restaurant format. Lets hope it all works out for them. They have been here for about forty years. I can't remember a time when there wasn't the Bel Sit.
