aerial hummingbird competition - which admittedly i thought - was going to be called - off due to weather conditions - i’d gotten an alert - you see, via huppert the resident house finch - due to overcast skies - and the threat of rain - the judges were considering - cancellation of the competition - but it turned out - to be a ruse - so i would be left scrambling - to get my gear - and make it to the arena - to get a decent shot - of the action - leave it to a finch - to pull off such a ploy - due to envy

word had it - that harriet hummer was proficient - for her mid-air dance moves - and once i observed her in action - i totally agreed - she was grace and speed personified - twirling, spinning, darting - the crowd roared their approval - it’s no wonder she’s - been on the podium - the last several years - just seeing her in action - has made it...
