Day 140 A cooling drink

The heatwave has continued and I confess that once again I spent most of the day lounging in the garden, under the pretext of getting fresh air to the leg wound!  I feel justified however, as next week will be full on for childcare, and I'm reserving my energies.
In such hot weather, we've noticed fewer birds visiting the garden but the pigeons continue to call and have even got brave enough to drink from the water feature when it's turned on as you can see here.  In extras, I couldn't resist this shot of one of the yellow roses backed by those lovely purply pink hibiscus.
