The Mystery Teapot

This just appeared addressed to me and no clue as to who has sent it.  Many thanks to whoever it was.

There was hope yesterday evening that the weather had broken, when we had thunderstorms for about an hour and a half.  The temperature in my office hovered at 29,8°C until the thundertorms.  I had the windows open, the weather was coming from the right direction and after the storms?  The temperature was still 29,8°C.

I couldn't sleep last night due to a combination of heat and kittens hunting my toes.  So I got up for a couple of hours and eventually went to bed around 1:30, the temperature had sunk to 29,2°C. And when I woke up this morning, it was 28,5°C - despite three open windows in my office and pretty much every other window open too.

And guess what temperature it is now?  Yep, 29,8°C.  And it's much hotter outside.

On the plus side, 2 things: there was 9mm rain last night. and the kittens didn't care about the thunder. On the negative, it's still way too hot.
