Greywalls Hotel

T and I went to Greywalls Hotel on the edge of Gullane for what's now become our traditional celebration of afternoon tea for each other's birthdays. This time it was of course a bit different because of the virus but although the forecast had been dire with thunderstorms and showers, the day brightened up at just the right time and we managed to have our tea outside. We had time to admire the gardens before and afterwards. I've got an extra of the cakes which were all delicious as usual. It made for a very happy birthday for me.

The forecast thunderstorms did arrive, however, overnight and caused widespread damage and disruption - more of that tomorrow. (Back-blipped from 12th.)
