Loughrigg Tarn

An orienteering friend, up from Bedfordshire wanted  a swim and a walk. We got to Loughrigg Tarn at about 9 and had the water to ourselves- for a short while. It was getting busy when we left to walk back to Ambleside over Loughrigg Fell for a lunch stop with her kind husband who had dropped us off.
Ambleside was very busy, we ate outside in the sun. Pleased to leave the busy town behind and get home.  We don't get tourists in Crook
