My blip says it all. Changeable weather throughout the day.

We went for an 08:30 walk before it warmed up. As we returned home it became uncomfortably muggy (again).

Relaxed on the bed with the fan on, had a (second) cold shower to cool down, then by 12:30 felt ready to face the world.

Quick lunch. A couple of slices of my* bread, vegan cream ‘sheese’/cucumber/tomato, the last of my celeriac remoulade, and my falafel (*‘Crispin’ was kind enough to send me R’s ‘easy - no fail’ bread recipe yesterday ). A feast. Then surprised Mr B at the club as he finished tennis.

My weather app shower showed imminent heavy rain. To the North a black cloud closed in. Suggested we drive straight home. Mr B said any rain was a long way off. Guess who was right?

It tipped down, while we sat outside suitably sheltered, with a cider, chatting to A. When the rain stopped we drove to Westbourne (where this blip was taken). Walked round and had a take-away flat-white at Coffee Saloon.

‘Light‘ left-overs for dinner courtesy of Mr B. Then the mugginess crept in again so been lying down watching some enjoyable rubbish TV. Where is that thunderstorm?

Definitely a weather day for Ingeborg’s ‘weather theme’. And that’s been the story of recent days.

Bad news 1: Dick, one of the baby goats is no more. His legs were injured when mum rolled over (?) and he was in considerable pain. Upsetting.

Bad news 2. A waiter at nearby Studland restaurant has been confirmed with Covid. Will they trace his contacts? Restaurant has closed.
