Hovering after a sip

A juvenile Ruby-Throated Hummingbird male enjoying some time at the feeder on another hot day with no rain in sight. I love seeing them hover with their wings moving as just a blur. This one and another young male still zip around after each other, we do need helmets with those beaks!


For the Record,
This day was a bit cooler and cloudy, so it was possible to sit out with the camera without frying in two seconds. Dinner on the patio tonight to celebrate slightly cooler weather.


All hands wary, but I'm very relaxed from acupuncture this morning.
