DAY FOURTEEN IN THE GAMES....

... and the last day for the 2020 Alternative Olympic Games - what a superb year of Events, and here in the Down Under Games we had to rearrange the time table due to rain - but, in the end, all competitors were able to perform.

The closing ceremony went down just as planned, and just finished in time before the next lot of showers came through.

Kevy the Kookaburra made such an impression on Day 11, the committee called on his BIG voice to sing the National Anthem.
Of course this can sometimes be dangerous when it comes to Kevy...., and sure enough Kevy took it on himself to sing "what he wanted"!!
The Committee were beside themselves, but the crowd went wild.... check out Kevy's song here .

It sure was a  good thing the last couple of events were over as things very quickly ended up one BIG party after this.

Back to those final events, as the light was fading with the impending rain saw Sucker the Little Wattlebird put on a brilliant show of agility in the "suck as many Callistemon flowers in five minutes event" (extra one). He broke a four Games record.

Earlier in the day Buzz the Bee (extra two) went through the his Lavender routine in record time, and took home the Gold Medal.

So the 2020 Games draw to a close, and all participants and reporters wish to thank dbifulco for again co-ordinating this tremendous Games event.
