Glorious summer

This year I ordered 100 begonia plugs on the internet for the first time during lockdown. I was astounded to see how small the plugs were - 100 in  a six square inch block. I transplanted into pots in the greenhouse and nothing much seemed to happen for weeks. However those that survived and are planted out, have thrived and produced these glorious apricot blooms (main photo). On the right is a cluster of Golden Anniversary roses, nasturtiums and purple shamrock with its little edible flowers.
