View from the Severn across to Lydney Harbour

We took a chance on the weather and walked form Sharpness down to the old Berkeley Nuclear Power Station (now decommissioned and the interim store for the nuclear waste from also decommissioned Oldbury Nuclear Power Station a little down river).

The Severn was out (10m rise and fall here), and the view across to Lydney caught my eye as the outflow from the harbour trickled into the sandy riverbed. It's a good place to walk, being flat and generally unoccupied.

I really want to get to the sea, but with the crowds and traffic being what they are (M5 at a standstill again) this will have to do. Lockdown and isolation has reduced the circumference of my explorations somewhat, and I need to push back and get out more.
