A new plant to me.   Google tells me its common names are Straw Foxglove or Small Yellow Foxglove.  As I was leaving Kanyl's I commented on this flower saying "it looks like a Foxglove but not like any I had ever seen".   He confirmed it was a Foxglove, so as something different it had to be today's blip.

It is a native of southern Europe and Northwest Africa, listed as an Herbaceous perennial or sometimes biennial.  It would seem to be very tolerant of most conditions of soil, sun/shade but preferring a slightly acid soil of 6pH.  Like most foxgloves it is toxic if eaten.
