In the foreground, the loyal Arcadia, has made Poole Bay her home. Behind a new visitor I believe, Anthem of the Seas. The Allure of the Seas is further over out of camera reach, as is Majesty of the Seas which is heading to Portsmouth.

Was searching for vegan, bread machine recipes for rye bread. Yesterday’s first attempt was a complete failure. In the end trying same recipe again. I have a suspicion I used 260 ml of water instead of 260 gm Just peered into the pan and it looks well mixed. Yesterday’s had about a cm of flour stuck to the base. Update: Googled and find 260ml=260gm (of water). Maybe the paddle wasn’t on securely yesterday?

Wonder if we’ll revert to imperial measurements re Brexit? Funny how those of certain age use both.

Bread ready around 4pm, by which time the rain should stop. So will do this and that and we’ll go out then. (Update: walked up to the Marriot, sun came out and blue skies, then back via 60 million postcards for our first Aspall there since March).
