2074. Trip out for a picnic

This photo was taken this morning at Dunkeld where we stopped after a short drive from home.  It's a bit overcast and grey looking and initially there were a few spots of rain but it soon cleared.
After a stop at a lovely wee cafe (we were able to sit in their garden) for a cuppa and a scone we had a wander around Dunkeld where I managed to buy some mango chutney and a rather nifty wee microwave steamer!

We then headed over to Stanley and parked at a spot which was affectionately known by hubby's family as "Bare Bum Corner" as it's where the local water sports people park and get changed so there were often bare bums on display when you drove by!
We headed down the narrow path and steps to beside the River Tay and sat at a lovely picnic bench for our lunch.  It was cool but very enjoyable and we even managed a walk along the narrow path by the side of the river.

Back home now for a rest and a wee play of our games...but first I must do some housekeeping on my MacBook and Photo drives which seems to take forever.....
