Next customer please....

Out local shop & post office changed hands suddenly. Nobody saw the going of the last owners, it just shut one day and the windows were covered and that was that. Now it has reopened and has undergone a smashing refurbishment. I popped in for the first time and met Gaj, the new owner. The front part is now an off-licence and is fitted out with these rough-wood-faced shelving units. Lots of wines and spirits and then down a step (which has always been a feature of the shop) to a well-stocked grocery section. The post office facilities will open in a couple of weeks. It's nice to have a local shop again although Tesco and Aldi are both slightly closer.....
