The pear-taster and the sunflower

I thought George was being optimistic, trying one of the pears. But he declared it “a bit gritty, but not bad”.

However, I couldn’t help noticing that after a bite he threw the rest to Stella.

In the evening, George and I made jerk chicken wings while Matt took on the epic task of making Jamaican Patties. Mo's rum & raisin banana cake rounded things off very nicely.
