Sunset Under Cloud

Everyone seems to like a bit of golden light. I think this is a bit more interesting having dark clouds above. The bright spot in the centre of the image is a bit hypnotic and all consuming. It doesn't allow for exploration of the image.

Strange day. First they said to expect rain at midday, then they didn't. When the cloud began to build, I didn't take any chances and wrapped up. Sure enough, the wind picked up and the heavens opened, briefly.

Over the water, the sound of big band music drifted across, often accompanied by a Frank Sinatra sound alike (see extra). Rain seemed like poetic justice.
