Side by Side

Slowly The Dream is becoming reality.

An exciting day for Hubby and I as our 'Maranda AMF S-14', side-by-side, homebuilt plane moves from the home garage to its new residence, a place with plenty of room where construction can continue.  Its looking way smaller on the trailer and in a huge hangar but its where it needs to be.

A Canadian design first flown in Canada in 1961, it is a high-wing strut-braced monoplane with a fixed, tailwheel undercarriage. The pilot and passenger sit side-by-side in a fully enclosed cabin.

Pretty much sums up our day, we'll be flying the sky before we know it - well maybe :)
