Murchison - Town of Surprises

Murchison - has been one of the most delightful surprises of the whole trip. We really didn't know what to expect, but we certainly didn't expect a lovely little town, nestled into the most picturesque valley, with the some most hospitable and wonderful blippers. It's a town that really invites much more than a cursory glance so it is with real regret that we will be leaving early tomorrow morning.

Our blipmeet this morning was terrific, and we had an enjoyable time talking cameras and blip talk (as you do). Rower has given a complete list of attendees, so I won't duplicate it here.

My image of the tiny Anglican church of St. Paul was taken at dusk against a rain front which was coming through. The architecture is kind of typical of the region. The history of the town is fascinating, but we just didn't have enough time to do it justice.

Thanks so much to the Murchison blippers who made us feel so very welcome, and who organised the Blip Meet of blippers from all over the north.

Spiritual Guidance.
