Pflaumenkuchen- Zwetschgendatschi

Or Italian plum cake. It will be the only one for this year, there are hardly any Italian plum trees here near the coast. These i found before we left yesterday in Sisters, that is 4 hours drive inland.
It belongs traditionally to summer in Germany, bringing back memories of my grandmother.
