Young Calf

A wet morning but the sun was out by lunchtime and everything soon dried up.    On our afternoon walk we met this youngster who showed quite an interest in us and kept an eye on us as we walked by.    I noticed it was sporting a Plastic Weaner Ring, worn to discourage suckling and encourage eating grass.   Whilst it looked a bit dramatic, it's only held on by a spring.   The nose hasn't been pierced.
