Tontine Hotel

Another wet and dull day in Greenock. After taking my daughter to work this morning, as I passed the Tontine Hotel I decided to take a couple of quick shots of this fabulous Georgian building.

Situated within the West End of Greenock the Tontine Hotel was designed by the architect J. Paterson and completed around 1805 when Greenock was expanding rapidly to the west of Nelson Street.
