Jack or Jill?

Such a wet, cold, gloomy day. It couldn't even be bothered to snow properly. A day for staying warm and dry indoors. This jackdaw was perching atop next door's chimney pot. Who'd be a bird on a day like this? At least s/he doesn't realise s/he's heavily cropped.
