Grey.

This is actually a colour photo, which tells a lot about the sea at Littlehampton today. I took this as I returned from a day helping my daughter to rat proof her chicken coop. The chickens enjoyed a bit of freedom in the garden as we sawed, hammered and drilled away. Expandable foam into the entry point into the shed, sinking wire mesh down into the ground. Time will tell if we have been successful. The chickens seem to have enjoyed the refurb though. They scratched about in the wood chip we had put down looking for tasty bugs to eat.
Grateful today for completing the repairs to the chicken house, for time spent on a shared task with my daughter and for the brutal splendour of the sea.
