Soda bread

Sunday's dinner is usually made up from whatever is left in the fridge. Today the menfolk wanted another go at fondue bourguignonne but that would need more bread than we had left. Thinking maybe there was a recipe for a quick loaf of bread I Googled and found a 30 minute recipe for a soda bread. Never thought it would be that easy ! Just flour, salt, baking soda and in our case Greek yoghurt as we didn't have buttermilk. Lovely crust ! I will try this more often.

Thanks so much for the many Abstract Thursday entries last week, you were all so creative in producing some kind of abstract landscape. You'll know by now that I only pick 5 specials per week but I could easily have chosen 10 more ! This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'home-made' and the tag will be AT270.

Here are last week's 5 specials:
gblrps                    a Van Gogh coloured landscape
Freuchie                an upsidedown reflection landscape
craftylady             an own watercolour landscape
hinden                   a mysterious landscape
deanna_pearce    an alien landscape

And thank you very much for the kind comments and stars on our own green grapes :-)
