Battery Point, Portishead

A visit to Praa Beach (and swim in the sea for most, including the dog).
Sunday lunch at the Mexico Inn.

Then the two young ones walked back to the house and we set off on the return north.

Staying at Portishead - because it is a few hours from where we were in Cornwall, there is a Premier Inn from which we can make an early start for home tomorrow . . . and it's a place we have never been to.

We have had a really lovely few days in Newlyn. It's always good to be in the company of our daughter and her husband and we are liking spending time in Cornwall. I am glad so many liked the picture of the Minack Theatre. Although many people have been there, it was new to me and I loved it. And it was extra special because of the state of theatres generally at the moment.

For those interested I have put pictures in extras of the two cottage window seats for which I have been making the blinds and cushions. (The blinds are on rods which swing in and out, which is why they needed to be double sided.) The project was a joint effort, with Joanne gathering the materials and me putting it all together and we are pleased with the result.
