Fettled

A trip to the garden centre this morning to enact the plan for the bed under the olive which is the only thing which is entirely happy to be planted there. Compost bought and spread and three little sempervivums planted to take their chance and hopefully spread to the edges and this fern with its lovely foliage. We also bought and potted up some primulas for the pots at the front door and planted out the daisies that were in there to see if they will resurrect for next year - they didn't take well to being unwatered when I was on holiday. The garden is looking good and we took advantage of the sunshine to sit out after lunch although not on my birthday bench which is due to be delivered tomorrow. Storm Francis is also due tomorrow.
