Great Banded Grayling....

.... actually on a flower! Usually you see these alighting in grass or on a tree. I published one a few days ago looking like tree bark. Very busy again today, won’t bore you with the details, then the next 3 days I have an ex Blipper visiting, followed by an overnight in the little cabin in Anzeindaz, followed by a 65th birthday party. I might be able to start commenting again by the weekend. Thanks to all who faithfully drop by my journal.
