Scoot Coots

I took Ollie dog for a walk at Fishers Green for the first time in a while. There was only one vehicle in the car park and very few people about. We saw only one dog and that was in the distance. Ollie did enjoy having a sniff around somewhere different though.

As we approached the wobbly bridge we could see the new Bittern hide/information point taking shape. (Extras) It has cost an awful lot of money and it has been said that it's a vanity project. I do hope dogs will be allowed inside as I have been told.

It was very windy and there wasn't much wildlife to be seen but it was nice to watch a family of grebes for a change. The male was providing the large piping 'humbug' with fish. In my image the female is approaching some coots. They made themselves scarce.
