Come out & play!

I happened to glance up from what I was doing in the kitchen, and there was Copper from across the street looking very hopeful for some TLC. Usually he howls for attention from farther away. So of course I dropped everything and went out. He's such a sweet old dog. 

A few brief showers here and there, like the sky needed to be wrung out, and some dramatic clouds that didn't bring anything but a little rumbling. I boxed up Marti's birthday present and made it to the post office just before it closed...but I'd forgotten my mask! You'd think it would be second nature by now. So I'll mail it tomorrow. Some days I'd forget my car keys if I didn't need them to drive.
