Plodding on

My day was fairly typical of life in the new normal.

I enjoyed a relaxed session with volunteers Doug, Jack, Jordi and Irene at the allotments, weeding and compost managing in the main.  Then home via Sainsbury's click and collect, then for an afternoon pot of tea with Jacqui to swap stories of our day and take on the Guardian Quick Crossword - not our strongest effort.  Finally, out for a nice plodding 7K run around the neighbourhood before collapsing with my book - Trustee from the Toolroom: an old favourite.

I know what you are thinking: how much excitement can one man stand all in the one day?  Dear oh dear! How has it come to this? :-)
