...to a feeder

is a tiny hummingbird

finally the sun appeared - the haze cleared momentarily - clouds parted and blue sky actually shown through - so i rushed out - because these tiny ones - won’t be around forever - they were flitting - and flapping and zipping - and zooming and humming - i could’ve stood around forever - if my body didn’t betray me

i was fortunate enough - to find a wonderful - clearing in the skies - to snap this shot - i still haven’t quite - figured out how to - capture their wings so they - don’t appear blurred - i know it has to do - with the shutter speed? - but just am not certain - how to set it - or what i’m doing wrong - once i’ve fiddled - then the hummers are gone - so i tend to not fiddle - which defeats the purpose - but i do want - to get better - it feels like a conundrum - and i don’t like - being frustrated instead - i only want to have...
