Nature Diary... Dear Little Youngster

The day dawned bright and sunny although rather chilly. The young Sparrows were visiting as usual and this adorable, fluffy little youngster took a few minutes to sit peacefully in the sun and to just watch what the rest of the family were doing. I was lucky to have watched the lovely little birds while I sat and drank my morning cup of tea because before long clouds blocked out the sun, the birds sensed the change and flew to my nearby Buddleia trees for shelter, and the rain suddenly torrented down. It poured, and poured, and poured some more. The sun did at times shine briefly again during the day but it was soon chased away by more rain. 
It seems the summer is ending much faster than anyone had expected.
