Not as easy as they look...

Chopsticks are made of different materials and have different designs based on the country they are used in. Chinese chopsticks are generally made of bamboo and are longer, rectangular and have a blunt end (i.e. easier to use!) Japanese chopsticks are a bit shorter than Chinese ones, are rounded and have a thin tip (almost impossible to use!) Korean chopsticks are made of metal - stainless steel - and generally have engraved ornaments (pretty but equally tricky!!)

Customized chopsticks make great gifts with silver or golden chopstick popular as wedding gifts. All this doesn't really change the fact that they take a certain amount of practise and anything less than expertise makes the user look particularly inelegant ;)

King: You will order the finest gold chopsticks.
Anna: Your Majesty, chopsticks? Don't you think knives and forks would be more suitable?
King: I make mistake, the British are not scientific enough to know how to use chopsticks.
