The Ferry

In Queensferry today to photograph the arrival of the latest section of the Royal Navy's new aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.

The ship is being built in sections at yards all over the country and being assembled at Rosyth in Fife.

I noticed the faded postcards and old style sweets in this shop window before spotting the reflection of the iconic Forth Bridge.

The postcard guys are going to have their work cut out as work is under way to build a new road crossing to join the Victorian rail bridge and the Forth Road Bridge opened in 1964.

The picture is a bit of a mess if truth be told but I kind of like it.
