We’re cleaning out our loft today (happy bank holiday weekend) and we came across the left-overs of our hair supply. In our puppet manufacturing days we imported this wool from Iceland, you can buy it in the UK now, but couldn’t then. And we would sew strands of wool together, one by one, to make lengths of hair which would then be hand-sewn onto puppet heads. So finding this brought back memories of long nights of sewing. Not sure what we’re going to do now with 200 balls of Alafoss Lopi.
