Passing Summer Storm

The whole day thrown off kilter by a wayward forecast. It was supposed to rain all day, but not a drop came our way. Thoughts of cooler weather to follow and needed rainfall. Clouds amassed, distant thunder rumbled, even lightening could be seen now and then, however any storm that there was passed us by. At least the light show was interesting.

I had been photographing flowers in the meadow (see extra), when I looked up to see the cloud formation and decided the light in the sky was more interesting.
