Tortoiseshell on buddleia (no it's not....)

A walk down the Water of Leith to the market was the highlight, really, of a quiet day. We picked up a few treats and enjoyed watching the many tortoiseshell Red Admiral butterflies enjoying the currently rampant buddleia on the banks.

Otherwise, I spent a lot of the day reading (finishing book 3 of the Neapolitan novels and starting book 4), before making dinner. Then we watched a film on Prime (Shell) and a funny old programme involving Billy Connolly in the Arctic on iplayer. Pretty relaxing really.
